No Hearts or Mushy Stuff

This bg was a pull off of the gel press with green and blue oxide sprays. The paper is copy paper and I kept turning the paper taking several pulls into the wet sprays to create the color blocking effect. Used a leaf stamp with black ink then added focal image with stencil and green stencil butter. Added black ink straight with pad swiped over image. Stamped sentiment with black ink then mounted on white cs base.

The title here is directly from the challenge over at River of Creativity. They are a new monthly challenge site and offer tons of inspiration.

  1. Love the color blocking you achieve using the gel press. The addition of the black stamped leaves was a great fill in for some spaces and that stencil sun and shine you achieved is perfect.

  2. This is a great card Bonnie and definitely no mushy stuff. Well, except for stencil butter. That seems like it would be pretty mushy. 😉 I love that sun image on your fun background piece.

  3. Such a striking creation Bonnie, it’s a super gelli background and the Sunflowers looks as though it’s gold embossed as it has such a lovely glow to it. So pleased you found our challenge at River of Creativity, many thanks for joining us and hope to see you again.
