Adding a Window

Adding something as simple as a white window frame can sure create interest. This bg is white text vellum that was left after playing with blue color burst and black ink. I then added turquoise stencil butter through broken lines stencil. I then sprayed the back of the wet stencil with water and placed it back down on the piece in the upper portion and pressed. The black foliage on the left is stamped with black ink. Mounted on white cs base and added sentiment strip layered on white cs and Silhouette cut window frame. I printed mine on white waterproof sticker paper and used one above.

Some stamp buddies were conversing the other day via email about sentiment strips and I found that I really wanted some misc. ones so I created this one. Feel free to print and if you want the svg to print & cut let me know.

  2. Bonnie, thank you for visiting my blog – it’s such a lovely gesture visiting neighbours in challenge links and leaving kind words of encouragement.
Your card is delightful – I love the textures and the illusion of looking through the window into a garden – it’s a clever technique. Thank you so much for the sentiment strips – these will be very useful!.

  3. Hi Bonnie! Thanks for the visit to my blog. I am stopping by to thank you for joining in at Always Fun Challenges and to admire your card – you just have such a gift for adding so much texture, interest, and totally unique ideas to your cards. I really want to learn how to be more “experimental” and try things where I don’t really know how it will turn out. And thanks for the sentiments, I am sure I will be using some of them!

  5. Hi Bonnie! Amazing card and such a lovely gift of sentiments. These are all the rage and I’ve saved to use! Remeber those old Dymo label makers? Well, I purchased one…wish I had the older one from the 70’s…I have no idea what ever happened to it. Thanks for entering your amazing project in the challenge at Pammie’s Inky Pinkies and Best of Luck in the Draw! Donna
