This bg is Crimson Stencil Butter through stencil on white text vellum. Once dry I layered on another stencil with orange shimmer spray. Then smooched in gold shimmer spray on glass mat and tore the edges. The pressed flowers are from the pear tree. Sentiment is Silhouette cut then attached. All is layered on white cs base. When the glue was dry I sprayed the entire surface with fixative in hopes the flowers stay long enough to send and go through the post.

Those are so pretty and look fabulous against that background. I remember when I got a good one I would photograph it in case I wanted to use it again in another project!

That crimson is definitely true to it’s name. Love the bit of orange and your beautiful flowers. Good luck on getting it through the mail intact.

Another gorgeous dried flower card! Hope the fixitive does its job and keeps the flowers safe as it travels to the recipient.

This is so pretty Bonnie. I love all the layers and texture. It is truly frame-worthy, honestly! I want to let you know that green isn’t part of our neutral guidelines at Color Hues and I would rather be frank with you than lead you to believe it is. We have a list under our guidelines page for you to refer too. We appreciate your lovely work and participation at Color Hues and I hope you will not let my comment deter you in any way and you will come back again soon. Also, please don’t remove your card as it’s far too pretty not to share with others. Take care.

Thanks so much for the lovely comments. I won’t remove it, your challenge got me going and I love that. I was more worried the white flowers pressed turn rather yellow so was pretty sure it did not fit the guidelines.

Thanks for understanding! You are extremely talented! I didn’t think the flowers looked yellow I thought they were more of a peach color. Take care!
