B&W with touch of Gold

As I was finishing up my Easter cards I saw this B&W challenge and thought that would be fun to intercorporate my new gilding flakes kit. The kit comes with gold gelding flakes, a sponge for applying the small bottle of glue. I had cut the lily pieces out of white Text Vellum on the Silhouette and Fussy cut the cross printed digi and attached to dot pp that was mounted on white cs base. I then stamped the vein in black on base piece of lily. Used the glue on the sponge from my kit to add glue to the highlight stamp. Stamped the top piece with the glue then rubbed on the gilding flakes then stamped the black tiger spots. Colored the stamen and different layers of the leaves with black sharpie. Layered and shaped the pieces then used pop dots to apply.

  2. Your cards are clever and so creative. The lily and gold are stunning together, and a perfect focal point for the black and white. Love those polka dots too! Thanks for playing again with us at Color Hues!
