Peach & Green

I had this piece of white Text Vellum with the gold smeared on it. I had coated a frame with the gold paste and this was the surface protector leftover. I added the peach color by spraying peach shimmer spray on glass mat and smooched. Sponged peach ink pad around edges to smooth out contrast. Used ef to create burlap texture. Colored Silhouette cut leaf frame with green ink pad smeared on glass mat sprayed with alcohol and smooched frame. The use of alcohol instead of water caused the ink to spread to the edges and leave more white on the piece. Wanted more intense color on frame part so used green marker to highlight only the frame not the leaves. Popped up frame on bg piece with foam tape and splatter with white gouache. Added previously stamped and fussy cut leaves to inside of frame. Mounted focal image on gold sticker paper that is mounted on white cs base. The Silhouette cut sentiment in white cs is glued only on frame so it sits proud of bg. I needed a guy get well so purposely stayed away from flowers.
