Splatter three ways

Both the bg and the heart were pulled from my stash of previously made. I splatter the bg with black watercolor by tapping loaded #4 brush against stamping block then added white splatter by using 3 sizes of white gel pen and adding dots one by one. This works for me when I want a more controlled splatter. The heart was made with buff colored paste put through stencil on to black cs then fussy cut. I added glitter by spraying image with shimmer spray then sprinkling gold glitter. I had added a small amount of white glue when creating shimmer spray so it would stick, I thought this would keep the glitter stuck as well and it worked quite well. Added the printed sentiment with punched edges to a kraft cs tag. All is mounted on white cs base in a 5×7 size.

    1. Years ago I bought a gallon of Elmer’s glue to make brown shipping paper wall paper and only used half of it. Now that glue gets used in tons of ways. For a small bottle of spray like 2oz. I would add 1/4 t. glue.
