As the winner of the November Challenge, I was invited to participate as a guest of the design team at Challenge up your life . This months challenge is Snowflakes. I started this with gel press and white tissue paper. I wanted to know if only acrylic paints could be used with my press? So I put three shades of color burst on my glass mat and spritzed with water. Used my brayer to add some liquid to press. Then I put a dollop of clear gesso and used brayer over this combination. Added the tissue paper and pulled it off. Once dry I used white glue on heavy cs to attach the colored tissue paper. The sentiment and snowflakes were cut on Silhouette in white layering weight cs. I ran them through Xyron then dipped the sticky side in glitter. I then used glue dot runner to attach them to the card that was attached to a white cs base.
Congratulations on your guest design team and a fabulous card. The colors that your achieved are gorgeous. Your card is like coming through a snowy white out and finding the blue of the sky. Beautiful and well done!

Congrats on your guest designing. Your card is beautiful. I just binge watched some gel press videos Jennifer McGuire did. I’m anxious to try some of the ideas if I can locate my long neglected brayer.
