Winter Scene

I was playing with making a plaid with all the colors over at Sunday Stampers. Not my favorite but festive for sure. Added stamped bough with black ink and clear heat embossing. The snowflakes are Silhouette cut as is the sentiment. The top layer of the sentiment got the black modeling paste smeared on top and allowed to dry before layering up. Added the white back in the pinecones with gel pen and some red and white dots. Rubbed vertical edges with black ink pad and mounted on white cs base.

Challenges I am entering

Sunday Stampers: Winter Warmth

Try It On Tuesday: Winter Wonderland

Double Trouble: Something, Anything Got the snow in and even entered Double Dare linked to Try it on Tuesday

  1. The black pinecones edged in white is fabulous. This is one of my favorite images that you create your cards. I like the plaid and your bold sentiment.

  3. Bonnie, your card design is so pretty! LOVE the bold plaid of the background which lets the snowflakes stand on their own. I never would have guessed the bough and cones are stamped in black ink! The white “added snow” are perfect. You used the challenge colors very creatively! Thanks for sharing with us at Sunday Stamps!

  4. Your favorite, or not, this is a great warm winter card. The colors make me think of a nice warm flannel shirt. I love how the pinecones look with that bit of white added back in.
