Sapphire Snowflakes

Always on the look out for a new and different, at least to me, card challenge I came across Rainbow Card Challenge. This months concept is to use monochromatic in Sparkling Sapphire. My water colors have a blue that I think of as sapphire so the focal flakes are colored with that allowed to dry before they were attached to the bg. The bg had been smooched with shimmer powder in a blue activated with water. Once dry I dry brushed with the sapphire water color. Added Silhouette cut snowflakes and sentiment. Splattered with white and the sapphire. Trimmed the layering weight focal image to fit just inside the white cs base.

  1. Hey Bonnie, what a lovely take on the sapphire color at The Rainbow Card Challenge. It does indeed look like blowing snow with swirls of large flakes. Great job. Thanks for joining us and hope to see you next month for the December Christmas challenge.
