A funny thing happened

I was trying to find the perfect plastic to cut stencils on my Silhouette. The mylar I had been using was a tad too thin but the next thickness was too brittle. Then it occurred that the laminator sheets were 5 mil and I could use just one half. That worked pretty good and I had these scrap pieces of single sided plastic and I had just played with shimmer spray and tissue paper then the thought occurred: why not heat laminate the tissue to just one side of the plastic. It worked great. Got a sturdy tissue that I could stamp on and add water color too, even rubbed edges with black ink pad. Adhered it to this tiny card by running the laminator sheet side through Xyron. Added Silhouette cut sentiment and white accents with gel pen.

Wish you could see the shimmer from my homemade sprays
