It is November

I went surfing for some November images and found this cute guy and the leaves. I printed on tissue paper the guy and cut out. The leaves were printed on copy paper then got sponged with honey mustard to soften white boarders and the sharp colors. I then used crackle on the surface. Did not crack much but gave nice sheen and movement to the paper. Focal image on tissue paper got white glued adhered to the plaid (made this last year and still had some left) that has black modeling paste through a stencil along the top and purple ink sponging with harlequin stencil. Words were stamped in black ink and white and black splatter added with water brush and acrylic paint. Sentiment was cut on Silhouette and heat embossed with cranberry embossing powder then adhered. Trimmed piece and mounted on white cs base.

Tip: To cut out on tissue paper, I like to use a thin water brush. If you paint with plain water along the line you want to tear, the paper separates along the brush stroke with a nice ragged edge. Perfect for gluing down.

  1. It’s had to believe it is already November, especially as we’re back up in the 90s this week. But, it really is. Your card is really cool. Love how you printed on tissue paper and that background is very cool.
