There was a challenge that asked to us a dragon. When I realized that I only had one and it was a very cutesy, I went on a quest to make my own. Stumbled on a site for Free SVG Images and found this dragon. Cut it out of 4 mil Mylar with Silhouette and placed the cutout on Text Vellum and sprayed shimmer spray. With the cutout covered with shimmer spray I just laid it down on a scrap of Text Vellum. Then the two facing images looked so cool side by side I went in that direction. Used the outline on one side with orange ink and sponging and the cutout on the other with the same ink and sponging. Trimmed and mounted on white cs base. Added rhinestone for eyes.
Tip: To get the pieces to match, use low tack tape on right side to align them in their full size. Then cut both at once with straight edge. Lay one side face down on glass surface and place cellophane tape along cut edge with half of the tape on the piece and the other half on glass. Gently remove from glass and place mirror side along cut edge. This is how I learned in drafting class in high school. That was awhile ago.
