Last Flowers of Autumn

My cosmos are showing off and they are so unaware of how close to the end they are. They were my incentive for this mix media. This card is one of those happy places where I kept adding till I was happy. The paper is Text Vellum and then I used my brayer to add orange color burst on the deboss side of the ef and then dry embossed. Added stays tacky even when dry to the texture part of the folder and dry embossed again then attached silver foil with heat laminator. Colored petals and leaves with copics and glued perils to flower centers. Splattered with red/orange reinker and black. Stamped the YOU in black ink and adhered the Silhouette cut white cs Thank. Layered on orange cs then added that to a white cs base.

Challenges I am entering this in:

Sunday Stampers: Earthy Tones

CAS on Friday: Autumn

Simon Says Monday: Dry Embossing

  1. This is beautiful, Bonnie! Glad your flowers are showing off before winter, too. Yes, it’s funny to say that, as it’s still over 100 here, every day. Love all the colors you have in this. Did the sticky come off your ef easily? It sounds incredibly messy.

    1. Yes, it came off easy. A little running water and soap, but maybe didn’t even need the soap. I will do it again with maybe a stencil. Just got the stuff because I don’t have anything like it so just beginning to play.

  2. Bonnie, this is gorgeous – so much texture! Love the speckling under those clean dies, too – great contrast! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
