CAS in Pink & Brown

I had printed this digi for another idea and did not use it so it was actually tossed in the trash. When I saw a challenge to use pink & brown I retrieved it and used chalk to color it. Without removing excess chalk I used clear gesso and a credit card to seal the powder down then spritzed it with perfect pearls in water with a little white glue. Added some details in with copics and black enamel accents then trimmed to fit. Sentiment was Silhouette cut in white cs then heat set with black embossing powder three times to get the thickness and shine. All are adhered on white cs base.

Challenges I am entering this is:

The Flower Challenge: Brown & Pink

Krafty Chicks: CAS

Try It on Tuesday: Use your scrapes I guess it is scrapes if it came out of the trash?

  1. This is lovely! What a great idea to seal the chalk with clear gesso, too. I haven’t used my chalks in years, as they get all over. Now I have a good way to do it cleanly, thanks to you and your fun ideas. Oh, that would probably work with glitter, too. See, the ideas you inspire! Now to find time to get in the craft room again. I love your black enamel accents, as well. Your sentiments are always fun and beautiful.
