Debut my Christmas Card

I have been making my Christmas cards for over 20 years. Each time I find a design I don’t mind making in mass production and then usually make over 90. It is my custom to not begin till the snow flies. Well this year we saw the white stuff the second week of September so I felt the urge to get started (usual to see it in late October). I had purchased this stencil months ago but not used it yet. By laying the stencil on glossy photo paper, sprinkling color burst then a light spritz of water I got the colored halo look I was hoping for. Once air dried die cut the stitched line rectangle Let that dry then I laid the second part of the stencil down and smeared on white modeling paste. While still wet I sprinkled crystal glitter. My mat piece is a Silhouette cut backing in the shape of the reveal plus the shape of the focal image in white cs. Attaching a piece of silver sticker paper made a perfect shiny layer. All are attached to white cs base. Decided on no sentiment and will work on the inside and envelope as the months progress to the holidays. I am loving how each one is slightly different and so much of the construction can be accomplished while watching football in the living room with my guy.

    1. Oh if you only knew, each step is ultra easy. Plus I never tire if seeing color burst when the water gets sprayed. Like watching a train wreck, can not stop looking at it.
