I had created this plaid last year and never used it all up. This was the perfect application for it. Once layered on black cs and I stamped in black ink the words I then glued on the Silhouette cut and heat embossed Birthday. The gold braid is actually black ribbon with gold running through it that I cut in half lengthwise and attached. All is mounted on white cs base. It seemed to me it needed more but my husband assured me it was finished, so I am going with what he likes on this one.

You can’t go wrong with plaid for a masculine card. The gold sentiment is so pretty. It looks liquid. The gold edge is a nice touch. I agree with Terry. It’s just right.
