Simon Says Wednesday: Reach for the Stars
The Paper Players: Sketch
My mixed media is built on a piece of brown paper that came with a liquid that was shipped, I am sure it was intended to be absorbent material in case of spills. I brushed it with white gesso and allowed to dry. Next I smeared in places crackle paste. Once dry I smooched in reinker of a blue sprayed with water. Once dry I then smeared Versa Mark and heat set Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I used the same powder to heat set the sentiment on a strip of vellum. The stars were cut on Silhouette in two pieces. The white inside layer was glued on the bg piece. The outline was colored with blue copic and added over the vellum strip. Everything go a good splatter of silver acrylic paint and then mounted on white cs base.
Love your imagination! Beautiful!

Bonnie, this is such a fun and beautiful card. Your background, as usual, is amazing. Great idea to use the throwaway stuff, too.
