The Paper Players: Fancy Folds
Double D: Stitches
Simon Says Wednesday: Bright & Cheerful
My favorite training site for the Silhouette has a sister site that offers cut files called So Fontsy. I purchased two fancy fold cards in the Paper Cards category. This is a compilation of both of them. The bg fancy fold piece and sentiment with attached frame were cut on white layering weight cs. The color for the bg is tissue paper used to mop up leftover colorburst from weeks ago and is glued on then the slit cut with sharp scissors. Used glimmer gel through geometric stencil on bg and smeared on sentiment piece. Attached sentiment and added stitches.
Tip: Get yourself one of those fineline applicators. I got the 18 gauge one and added white acrylic paint with some water to thin it down. Made these stitches a breeze to create and they have more dimension then I can get with a gel pen.
Cool card base! Your faux stitching looks great.

Great new fun fold discovery. The design reminds me of a Native American blanket.

Yes the steps do look southwestern. You will have to see where that takes you.

So good to hear from you Donna. I have the same problem with gel pens so the finetip was a great find.
