Nothing like a ride in the saddle on a cool summers morning. This silhouette image was found on the internet and much loved by my husband. He likes his cards with no sentiments. I printed the image on the ink jet copier on white Vellum Paper. Smeared that through blue shimmer spray on the glass mat and sponged in some orange and purple ink pad. Mat layered on plum cs and mounted on black layer. All in on a white cs base.
Tip: The shimmer spray did show too much on the black base and riders so I used a baby wipe dampened to wet with alcohol to rub out the pooling. The mica stayed and shows a nice shimmer.

Love the sky! It looks so real. The horses look perfect with the sky.

This is wonderful. I’m glad you said how you got the majority of the ink off the black, as I was wondering about that. My son thinks it looks great, too.

Beautiful card. It look the cowboys are just riding out into the sunrise. The background is perfect for this image.

Was not sure how the shimmer would work and at first it did not. My workaround did the trick.

Beautiful sky background for your silhouettes makes me wish I was there (even though I’ve never been on a horse.) Sentiments on the outside of cards limit how you will use the card at times. Happy Birthday America and Happy 4th to you and Terry, Bonnie.
