Green with Colored Pencils

Challenges

The Paper Players: Sketch

Krafty Chicks: All Occasion

Double Trouble: Anything

The colored paper was gifted to me by a stamp buddy (thanks Diana) and I wanted to try using colored pencils on colored paper. It was a fun project and I quite like the results. Once the image was stamped in black ink and colored I added white gel pen in areas for some pop. Mounted the elements all up and put them on white cs base. Sentiment and fern were cut on Silhouette and sentiment got heat embossed with black. The green layer got white embossing paste through knit stencil.

  1. This is pretty. I have only used colored pencils on black colored cardstock, but really like the lighter color cardstock. May try it sometime.

  2. Awesome! love the green stenciled piece and the stamped image is one of my all time GKD favorites. Did you use white colored pencil on the image before color? It turned out wonderfully on the colored cardstock.
