I had been out of the craft room for a few days and this got me going again. It is created with acrylic paints and stencils. The first layer on white Text Vellum was silver paint smeared on swirl stencil and the stencil used as a stamp. Then I added black paint through gear stencil and the gold paint through circle stencil. Added elk cut silhouette and sentiment tag then one more stencil of sun ray with silver paint over everything but elk. Rubbed edges with black ink pad and mounted on white cs base.

The silver sun ray over the top of the sentiment was maybe too much, but sure fun to try new ideas. Thanks for your support.

An amazing Bonnie background on this card. I don’t know why I was expecting to see a bee as the main image…maybe from the title Been Busy and the yellow and black but your silhouette elk is a strong focal point. Great sentiment.

I agree with Gayle, another amazing Bonnie background. The silhouette mouse is such a dramatic touch, very powerful.

Thanks Gerry, acrylic paint is such an underused medium. I used my blending brush to apply through the stencils.

Personally I like the silver sun rays over everything else. It is an amazing background and you really have a knack for mixed media style cards. The elk makes a good focal image too.
