Krafty Chicks: CAS
Little Red Wagon: Recycle
Addicted to Stamps: Photo by the sea shore
I had created a small sea shore scene a few projects back. When I trimmed down the focal image I through this small scrape in the trash. Walking by the trash yesterday I thought this piece was salvageable, especially on this small card (3 1/2 x 4 1/4). The hint of a sun was added with copics and edges were rubbed with navy in then silver acrylic paint. I used My Sweet Petunia Cut-Align to create the layers in peach and blue. And once all were mounted on white cs base I decided to stamp the butterflies in black.
I think removing from trash would work. Lovely card! I like the sky background.

Thanks Lisa K. It was so small, I wish you could see how tiny it really is.

Yes it works as recycle, though I’m not sure why it ended up in the trash in the first place. It’s really a great background and the butterflies are a lovely addition.

The butterflies are only 3/4″ and 1 1/2″, so you can see the scene is not very big.

Thanks Diana, Not much to it but fun to make something out of almost nothing.

The challenge of recycle got me going. I was going to tear apart a corrugated box and use that some how.

Yikes, why was that beautiful background in the trash…So glad you removed and recycled it into this gorgeous card.

Gayle, this is hardly bigger than a large postage stamp. I don’t like to craft with a magnifying glass.

Of course removing from the trash is recycling. This is beautiful and I like that the butterflies are stamped in black.

Thanks Gerry, it was needing something more but grass and gulls was too much.

Recycling at its best. Why you put it in the trash in the first place is beyond me. You could have die cut a butterfly or 2 from it. It is a pretty scene and the butterflies just make it perfect.
