The Paper Players: CAS + Men in Mind
Inkspirational: Shake
Shaker cards are not usually my cup of tea so this was a stretch for me. Especailly considering I was attempting to keep it CAS. Not sure it qualifies for that.
To make the sandwich, I cut to the same size and then die cut the dragon fly on color washed photo paper and blue fun foam. Taped acetate to the back of the color piece and stamped the dragonfly on the white cs base. Added double sided tape to both sides of fun foam and attached all the layers, with crystals in the window. Sentiments was created and cut on Silhouette.
Perfect masculine card! The small shaker works.

Thanks so much Ann. I love to play with glossy photo paper and mixed media when I am feeling under-inspired. Results are generally showy and do get me going again.

That background really stands out and the dragonfly shaker is clever. Maybe not 100% CAS but a winner in my eyes.

Maybe CAS is like beauty and will be in the eyes of the beholder?

This is the best shaker card. I had to hunt for it before realizing it was in your dragonfly. So creative and clever. Your background looks beautiful.

The background is perfect behind the dragonfly. Like Gayle I had to look twice to realize his wings were the shaker. Really a fun look.

Thanks Judy, is about the only way I could think to make a shaker more on the manly side.

Bonnie, this is fantastic! I love that you stamped the dragonfly on the bottom layer, so the shaker is on top of it. You created a wonderful shaker that is elegant, not cutesy.
