Fusion: Enough
I was playing around with vellum and dry embossing and this happened. I used Xyron to attach dry embossed vellum to copy paper then swiped black ink pad across highlights. Used gold water color on a brush to color flower then mounted on white cs base. Stamped sentiments and butterfly on card in black.
Tip: DO NOT be afraid to cut your polymer stamps into what you want them to be. The sentiments in the new to me (purchased from stamp buddy on Ebay) stamp set were not my style. Once I cut them apart and selectively edited, I now like them and will use them.
Lovely card! I own that set and have always used it as purchased. Maybe I should take a closer look at my stamps and see what never gets used or is not my style. Thanks for the tip reminder.

You are so welcome. It is like we need permission to cut them apart. Snip away my friend.

Cool technique and it’s great to be able to further stretch your stamps but cutting, mixing and matching to suit your taste.

Thanks Judy, the Xyron works so good for vellum and then stamping on that is something new for me.

Wow! This is beautiful! Love how you did the sentiment. I have cut stamps apart before – more uses!

So good to see your sweet comment. Having these new stamp sets has been my play toy this past few weeks.

Lovely card, Bonnie. I always feel a little guilty when I take a scissor to my stamps but you are correct that sometimes a sentiment may more reflect what you want to say.

Sharp scissors are key, but swallowing hard and making the cut is sometimes difficult.

Love the distressed look you achieved from swiping the black over the embossed vellum. Love the gold you added also.

So glad you like it Gerry, Terry always likes it when I add a focal touch, too.

Great card and until recently I’ve been scared to cut up my stamps. Have done it a few times recently and hope I don’t lose them now they are smaller. I like the addition of yellow gold here. It adds something special.

What a beautiful card to have “happen”. Your creativity shines through in all that you do. Smart idea to cut the sentiment apart and make it what you want.
