The Card Concept: Mothers Day
Just Add Ink: Choose Two = Stencil & Pattern Paper
I made this greenery wreath out of white cs and cut on the Silhouette, but it was torn and seemed that it would not work as a paper wreath. However, as a stencil I could cover over the tear. I used embossing paste and spatula to go over paper stencil that had Pixie Spray to help hold it in place on blue cs. It came up in pieces so still made it to the trash. The b&w strip is scrap of pp and yellow roses are a three stamp affair and fussy cut. I added some color pencil highlights, glossy accents drops and gently shaped the flower spray. Stamped sentiment in black and mounted on white cs base.
The wreath works. The flowers are gorgeous!

So glad you think so, they are from a win at Krafty Chicks a while back. Fun to make.

The stencil area is great but the flowers are the highlight here. They look so real.

Pretty card and great that you were able to use the ripped stencil.

Oh if it only knew how close it came to getting file 13 earlier.

At least you were able to salvage the stencil enough to make it work for a card front. The roses are beautiful and the black and white strip really sets them off.

Thanks Judy, sure hope the strip counts as pp.

Using the ripped wreath as a stencil is a great way to save it Bonnie! The white paste is so striking on the blue and compliments your pp and pretty roses so beautifully. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.
