Torn, crumpled and has a bow

Challenges
Sweet Stampin: Distressed
Allsorts: Add a Bow

This started as a project to showcase my newly created embossing folder that adds this boarder but quickly became something more. The tissue paper was laying around after mopping up blue shimmer spray. First I crumpled it up and smoothed it back down then I glued on the die cut sentiment and bow. When I hit the piece again with the blue shimmer spray the spray did some interesting things like make silver pools. I tore the edges, added a white layer of sentiment and some white gel pen then sentiment strip. This was mat and layered on blue tag then my embossed white cs base.

Tip: To create an embossing piece, I cut three sets of the three boarders in 60 lb cs. Then stacked and glue them on top of each other then on to heavy cs for a base that fit my Cuttlebug. My sandwich was B plate+base plate+embossing piece+cs to be embossed+rubber shim+B plate. Thanks Lisa B for showing your Ebay find that convinced me to make this one in 4×5 3/4 size.
