Spring everywhere

Double Trouble: Spring Things
Artsystamper:Springtime

Pastures are green, tulips are up and baby horses are arriving so I know it is spring. My card tries to capture some of this. The bg is white Text Vellum with homemade embossing paste through stencil. Once dry I added green color burst and spritz to wet and tilted to get runs. Layered on white cs base and sprayed both with pink shimmer spray. Added stripe strip, Silhouette cut greenery and stamped and die cut flowers embellished with water color and pearl centers. Created sentiment on Silhouette and printed on Text Vellum then adhered to card (I guess that is a digi?). Punched some dragonflies from leftover bg paper and added glossy accents.

Tip: Here is the recipe of embossing paste: 1/4 c. arrowroot, 2 t. white acrylic paint and 2 t. white glue. Mix and store in airtight jar. May need to add a few drops of water to get consistency you want. Mixes well with colorants but if you want glitter don’t add to paste. Instead add glitter to piece when paste has been added to piece while still wet. Cleans of hands and stencils like a dream. Stands up to more mixed media and dries quickly without cracking.
