Simon Says Monday: Spring Mood Board
Make My Monday: Make Your Own BG
The bg is a stencil sprayed with shimmer spray and placed wet side down onto white cs pressed gentle so not to move stencil then lifted. Once dry bg was trimmed down then mat & layered on dark gray corner and then white cs base. Made the cross by trimming with scissors the dry wall joint tape with self adhesive. Used the self adhesive side to add tinsel embossing paste then heat set. Layered the cross on strips of gray cs. Sentiment was created on Silhouette then printed and mat & layered on dark gray cs. I tore one edge of the dark cs because it reminds me of the brokenness that Jesus had to endure while he was falsely accused then executed for that crime.
A typical Bonnie creation and thinking outside the box. That cross is awesome!

Your background is beautiful and that cross – OMG as Johanna said, always thinking outside the box. The torn edge is an extra special touch.

Bonnie, this is beautiful! I love your torn strip and the meaning behind it. This is a great way to use the drywall tape, too.
