Make My Monday: Something Tropical
Simon Says Monday: Stencil Fun
I had this stamp set from my win at Simon Says and thought it would make the perfect focal image. Stamped flowers and leaves in black ink on white 60 lb. cs. Touched stamen with versa mark pen and heat set in clear then colored with watercolors and added copics and even sponged ink. Fussy cut then brushed on gold acrylic paint. Bg is in two separate pieces. They are both white cs with stencils. One is sprayed with yellow shimmer spray and the other with black marble ink spray. Once dry laid the stencils back down and on the black harlequin I used spatula and embossing paste to highlight. The yellow one, I hand drew pencil lines to outline leaves. Used fine gel pen to outline edge of black harlequin piece then mounted on top of yellow piece. These were mounted on white cs base with dark gray corner accent mat. Sentiment was designed and printed from Silhouette. Added white multi shaped sequins and glossy accent to flower centers.
Your flowers are so pretty!
