Lots of Dots

Challenges
Allsorts: lots of Dots
Little Red Wagon: Ect-Ect-Ect
Simon Says Monday: Stencil Fun

There are 3 stencils used here. The first is harlequin with gold shimmer stray on white cs. Next is circles & diamonds with turquoise ink and gold water color sponged through and last is a spry of flourishes with embossing paste that was allowed to dry then the turquoise ink sponged through replaced stencil. Whole piece got splattered with gold acrylic and small amount of word stamped in black. The sentiment is Silhouette cut and the top is heat embossed with chunky clear. Some of the dots from the last stencil got glossy accents. Focal piece is mat with dark gray then layered on white cs base.

Tip: The word stamp is fairly small, about 1″ x 1.5″. I found if I curl the acrylic stamp around my figure then stamp with just a portion I have more of the random look I was going for. The white cs has some score lines. When I sprayed the harlequin I played with using the color as guides to add score lines so the pattern is not regular and only used in parts. Not good for a more pristine bg but with all that is added here it was ok to use.

  1. What a wonderful combination of stencils. It gives a real mixed media feel to your card. The 3 stencils are perfect for our challenge. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Little Red Wagon Challenge!
