Double Trouble: Go Green
Simon Says Monday: Tag It
Stamping Sensations: Spring Flowers
Die Cut Divas: Anything Goes
This tag was black cs that got placed on the glass mat that was covered with white acrylic paint and the stamp of tulips had left its impression. Die cut the tag and outlined with white gel pen. The focal tulips are the result of stamping the paint on to the black cs then fussy cut and colored with Gelly Roll Metallic pens. Sentiment and greenery are Silhouette die cut. Rope was colored in with purple metallic pen and black ink pen added the detail for the greenery. Twine is wrapped around tag and is gold, even though the shine is lost in this photo. BG piece is watered down green color burst and paint brush on to some white cs. This piece and the greenery got shimmer spray in gold. Black strip with purple hearts that have bling for the beating hearts, which are hand drawn with purple pen. All is mounted on medium gray cs on white cs base.
The black cs is cheesy Wally World so the center is white. I decided to accentuate this by rounding the edges of the strip and the tag hole reinforcement with an emery board (you know for filing your nails). Works well here with the b&w details. The hole reinforcement was punched with my 1/4″ circle then that was centered with the 1/2″ circle punch.
Love these tulips no matter what you create with them. Love your comment about your cheesy paper. Lovely card!

I’m in agreement with Lisa that those tulips are gorgeous. Love the layers, your elements and trying new ideas.

Beautiful…love the flowers added to your tag and the flair of leaves around the tag… Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble Thing 1 “Go Green”; but don’t forget to share with our partner at Heart2Heart… In fact, they have waived their Close To My Heart requirement for this challenge only, and you have already “Put Your Green On”. Please link up with them at http://heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com/2020/03/put-your-green-on-partnership-with.html
