Purple for the Girls

Challenges
Allsorts: Make it Girly
Sweet Stampin: Birthday Girls
Simon Says Wednesday: Add a Sentiment

All these bg pieces are scraps from previous projects. Once trimmed and edges rubbed with black ink pad I mounted them on lavender cs. The greenery and bow were Silhouette cut in white and sprayed with purple shimmer spray. The bow got vellum fussy cut for behind and then all was stamped in black with a vine stamp. Then I layered the bow on white cs and cut by hand the layer piece. The extra step and vellum was worth it because even my husband commented that it looks like ivory. This was then shaped over a thin paint brush and adhered with dimensional glue. Sentiment was printed and cut on Silhouette and layer in white was cut by hand. All is mounted on white cs base.

The black and white pieces are from the deep embossing folder I got from my win at Simon Says. After I had embossed white layering weight cs I smacked in in black color burst then rubbed the black ink pad over the top to catch the highlights. The harlequin pieces are copy paper with stencil and black spray then shifted the stencil and sprayed with the purple spray. I accidentally dropped a wet piece with gold shimmer spray but like the flecks of gold that it created. The other purple/black pieces are from the over spray when creating the stencil pieces.

  1. WOW! Of course I love anything purple, but there is so much more in this card to love. The bow is awesome and the background is amazing. I always enjoy reading the details of how your creations come together.
