CAS Mix Up: Stencil from Die
I love these challenges that get me out of my square comfort box. First I die cut cs with two butterflies then used the aperture part to lay across glossy photo paper that got sprayed with Risist Spray. Once dry I sprinkled the color burst directly on the glossy paper and sprayed with water. Once that was dry I stamped the butterflies with versa mark and heat set in white. Trimmed this down and adhered to white cs base then added green pp strip and Silhouette die cut sentiment.

Pretty! Love the white butterflies on the blue.

Oh, I love this! The white and blue look amazing together, and the touch of green finishes it all off so nicely! I’ve not tried using color burst powders yet, but I love the end result so may just have to give them a try! (Several years ago, I purchased and tried using Bisters – once – and it was a bit of a disaster! Maybe it’s time to revisit this technique!!)

First off love the blue color you achieved with the color burst for the white butterflies and that touch of green completes the look. Awesome sentiment.

Duh, I mean a matching die to make your stencil.

It is a matching die that I made the stencil with. Look at my next card and you will see the stencil cut paper upcycled into a card.
