CAS Colours & Sketches: Sketch
Simon Says Wednesday: Anything Goes
This sketch was one that I really wanted something alive on the edge. I was originally thinking butterflies but then I came across these seldom used ladybugs. The large flower was stamped and heat embossed in white on white cs. Water colored then fussy cut the edge. Splattered with dark purple and white and added vintage glass glitter in krystallos in very center. Stamped sentiment in black and rubbed two edges along dark brown ink pad. The green layer is cs that got the bugs stamped in black, smeared with clear gesso allowed to day then copics to color red bodies and added dry embossing to the whole piece. White gel pen for eyes and mounted on white cs base then added the top layer with the flower focal image.
