Used a stencil to sponge on the ocean blue, it feathers to white from the outer edges to center and the boarder was masked. Stamped the image in black and used copics to color. Added white gel pen accents and stamped sentiment in black. Used fine black gel pen to create boarder. Did not set out to make a one layer, but sure as heck is one.

They are soothing colors and this is a great 1 layer card, intended, or not. Love the difference white accents make. I need to remember to do that.

Lovely. The stenciled background is beautiful. The black border really makes an impact and adds dimension. The white pen is an accent I seldom think to use, but it’s a great touch.
