Just Add Ink: Celebrate
CAS Mixed Up: Partial Die Cut
I sometimes watch a crafting show on TV that is broadcast in Europe. The other day the presenter did a partial die cut with and X-acto blade, so I decided to give it a go. The stamping is done so some portion hangs over a vertical line that becomes your fold line. The line is then scored only between the stamping. Then with a very sharp blade you cut along the stamping between the score lines. Fold along the score line and you then have a partial cut. I did use heavy double sided tape to keep the folded edge to the inside. The flowers centers are heat set gold embossing powder and the rest of the spray is colored with water colors. I then adhered sentiment. Added the pp strip to the inside just to the area that is behind the front when folded but still enough white spaced to write a nice note.
Happy Birthday to Just Add Ink. They are celebrating 10 years PLUS 1000 followers. Hope my card makes them smile.
That card will make everyone smile Bonnie.

Gorgeous card, Bonnie. I thought the patterned paper was some of your stenciling. Love the depth of color on your flowers.

Beautiful result and like Gayle I thought the pp was your stenciling. I’ve done cutting this way in the past – long before I joined any stamping communities or used the internet.
