The Card Concept: Bountiful Blessings
Saw a video on the internet called Black Ice Technique but mine did not look even close. It did make an interesting focal piece. First you stamp in black then rub with black ink pad on gold a shiny paper. I colored mine with copics. Then you rub versa mark gently over the whole surface then heat set clear embossing powder. My powder bubbled behind the pumpkins but stayed flat on the markers. I mounted this behind a black linen cs with center cut out. This is mounted on white cs base.
The background for your pumpkins is amazing. Your card looks like it’s been framed. Off to check out that technique — thanks for sharing.

This looks great even if it didn’t do what the video showed. I know I have heard of this technique where they used the UTEE — Ultra Thick Embossing Powder. I have never tried this. Glad you were brave to give it a try.

Even if it didn’t work the way it was supposed to, it still looks great.

The look you achieved with this technique is very cool.

I agree with the others – you may not have gotten exactly the effect you wanted but the results are still stunning. That is a technique I’d like to try but you need metallic paper according to what I’ve seen. Must try it soon.
