For a Tree

I sponged dark green for the leaves and red for the berries. Cut the sentiment and solid outline for it on Silhouette. Sponged the colors on the sentiment then painted it with clear gesso and sprayed with shimmer. Popped up the outline and sentiment then layered with gold on white cs base.

  1. I love your leafy background Bonnie and the festive colours really pop against the white. Thanks for playing along with our tree-themed challenge over at AYSI this week!

    1. The font and spray was $.50 at the Silhouette store. I did have to trace then offset for the outline. I can sure see using the spray and add different sentiment, too.

  2. Your design is clean and simple with high impact. I like the soft effect of the sponging against the harder lines of the popped up elements. The shine and shimmer on them is lovely. Thanks for joining in with us at As You See It Challenge.

  4. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS! The texture you created on the leaves with the varying shades of green is awesome, and these with the deep red berries look great on the white background. Pretty greeting die cuts as well.

  5. The traditional green, red and gold have been used here in just the right proportions to create an elegant holiday feel, Bonnie. I love all the extra touches you add to your cards. This is beautiful. Thanks for sharing it with us at As You See It Challenges.
