Make My Monday: Shapes
Saw a sunrise the other day where the sky was this pale blue but the horizon went from bright orange to yellow that faded into the blue. This is my interruption of that scene. Started with pale turquoise cs and laid the sunburst stencil then added orange color burst. Sprayed the color with water and then removed the stencil. Cut that into 1″ squares. The edge of the cs lost its blue so I added copic color just on the outside edge plus a yellow for the center. Sentiments were made on the Silhouette. All is glued to a black cs layer and added to white cs base.
Tip: to get the 1″ pieces lined up I used my sticky mat that goes through the Silhouette. I placed them right side up and fussed till they looked straight then place purple tape on top and then removed the pieces held together with the tape. Added glue to the back of the pieces and place them on the black cs then gently removed the purple tape. Still not perfect but sure was easy and quick.
It amazes me how we all find inspiration and then come up with something spectacular like this. The WOW factor here is tremendous
