CAS Watercolour: Colorful Butterfly

The focal was cut with Silhouette in two pieces. The back piece I water colored and the front cutout was white cs that got heat embossed in black then glued on and added white dots with gel pen. The base white cs was sponged with the same butterfly silhouette in light gray, a lower portion added in a pp and some flourishes then tag (made on Silhouette) all layered on.

  2. Your butterfly is a stunner! Not only have your contrasted the bright colours with black but matte with shine. I like the way you’ve not only split the panel with a lacy strip but by using different patterns. Thank you for joining us at As You See It, Bonnie.

  5. The warm fall colours in your butterfly contrast so well with the sponged grey background. I love how you created your own by sponging the same butterfly cut out. The contrasting lined DSP is the perfect match for it! Thanks for playing along with us at As You See It Challenges!
