Last Border Frame

As You See It: Favorite Color
Make My Monday: “B”

This was the last leaf frame I had cut out for another project that was not used. The challenge over at As You See It was to use favorite colors. So placed a piece of layering weight white cs on glass working service, put a leaf stencil on that and dusted on blue and green color burst. Spritzed with water. Removed stencil and let ink dry. Placed the stencil back on then ran through cuttlebug. This gave relief and more definition for the background. Glued this on white cs base and glued boarder on that. Added the glittered cut out sentiment.

Tip: Something that has been working for me in my life is to follow my 3 P’s.

  • pH – I want my pH to be on the alkaline side. According to 1931 Nobel prize winner Dr. Otto Warburg “Disease can’t survive in an alkaline body”. Test strips are available on line or at over the counter drug stores (100 strips for $10). I had to cut out all grasses, and processed foods to accomplish this.
  • Peace – Let peace be the umpire for my life.
  • Physical Activity – Get out and move everyday. Exercise motivates your body to make more mitochondria and repair damaged structures.

    1. Thanks so much Golda. When my husband and I wanted to try living better 4 years ago, we were starting to see joint pain, not sleeping as good and weight we could not lose. We both now weight less than in High School, very little pain of any type, sleep great and are active. By the time our parents were the ages we are now they had replaced 3 joints and surgeries too numerous to count on other joints, diabetes and cancer. So we are pretty sure it is not genetics. We are on no drugs plus have not even seen a doctor for decades. I am sure this is more than you really wanted to know about me, but I am very happy with my choices and life and wanted to share.

  1. I love those bright blues and greens – but of course, you’d have seen that in my DT card! I love vibrant swirls of colour against the leaves – such a striking combination. Thanks for joining us again at As You See It Challenge.

    1. Actually I did not see it till I posted. I only looked at the challenge and went to the bottom to post. I have a top that is those two colors and it was my inspiration. Makes me happy when great minds think alike, though.
