Die Cut Divas: Happy Birthday
Got a new stencil and some glitter gel that needed played with. I sponged the stencil with a light gray ink, then masked off half the card and sponged light green over that. Turned the stencil over and with a spatula added glitter gel in gold. The idea of smearing the Silhouette cut sentiment with the glitter gel came from who knows where but it worked. Once the words were glued down I added the butterfly from another project and the card was complete. I had stamped the butterfly in black on layering weight white cs, colored with watercolors then fussy cut. Decided to heat embossed chunky clear embossing powder for the thick shine.
Love the effect you got with the stencil! The butterfly is the perfect finishing touch!

Great card Bonnie, and the background turned out amazing. Loved the butterfly, to finish it all off.
