The jumping off point was the background paper. I had made this with embossing folder and color bursts quite some time ago. The swirls reminded me of waves so I decided to add the spray in the form of a rain drop stencil with glossy white embossing gel. Once dry I cut out the center, swiped the insert with light blue ink pad. Added navy frame then the center glued back in. Sentiment cut twice on Silhouette in white. Colored one in navy with Copic then layered the white on top. Added bling to corners of frame and colored the background from the back with the copic navy right along the edge for a slight frame. Mounted all on white cs base.
Tip: When adding color to the edge of something, be sure to color from the back. This is because if you slip and the ink goes scooting across the paper, at least it is on the back.
