For Bugaboo Stamps: Catch the bug

One of the main reasons I began carding in earnest was because I loved to color as a child. This Bugaboo Monster was just the ticket. Colored with Copics then layered on Stormy Sky and then Red Velvet. The dry embossed copy paper is from a Silhouette cut homemade embossing folder with black ink pad swiping. Sentiment cut on Silhouette.
TIP: Cut a self healing mat down to size and use for your die cutting machine. Works like a dream once you figure out your sandwich. I cut my mat with my gardening pruning shear. Way easier than scissors. Of course nothing in this card was die cut, but I was playing with my Cuttlebug and seeing what layers would emboss best with my homemade embossing folders.
So cute!

It is sure a fun site to get inspired to color. Most of their pieces are really different.

What a fun card! I love that you used your Silhouette for so much of it, too. Great idea about the self healing mat. It’s always nice to find other possibilities that work, too.

I do use the Silhouette to resize digis. It is easy to manipulate and print.Made the original investment pretty easy when I was needing some software to do this very thing.

I sent this one to my brother-in-law. He is a beer man and do so much cake, so the inside I wrote that this monster only celebrates with beer. Great image for all ages.
