Easter in Blue

Time Out Challenge: Photo
Freshly Made Sketches: 381 Lee Ann

Started with white layering weight, added medium over cable stencil along one corner. Once dry sponged light blue ink then drew harlequin stencil with black marker. Added navy stamp of leaves. Layered over Denim Blue cs with strip of double sided tape that has glitter added. Glued on butterflies and leftover strip of stenciled part with tag popped up. Made my own brads to match glitter strip (Faux Brads thanks Julie Warner).

Pastel Easter

Had not used my palate of chalk for ages, so added purple chalk with a tissue over a stencil onto the center cutout of this frame. Cut the frame twice to give it more dimension but only use one of the centers. The tag was made and cut on the Silhouette. All was layered on Lovely Lavender with some chalk added so it matched better.

Mod Squad Challenge: Pastels Only

Large Wreath in Purple Roses

Started with 7 1/2″ layering cs and stamped rose spray 8 time with homemade large wreath template in black ink. Colored with copics and watercolors then sprayed with shimmer. Trimmed to fit 5 1/2×7 1/2 cs base. Added Silhouette sentiment and hand tied bow.

Second Embossing Folder

Could not stop playing with this, started with white base dry embossed and then swiped with black ink pad. Later added in in the copic colors. Layered the red gingham to anchor the bottom. Used Versa Mark through stencil for chevrons on the green strip. Cut a circle in half, stamped and colored half and added hand drawn dots on the other. Cut sentiment on Silhouette and layered on the yellow tag that is popped up. Added another sentiment tag stamped in black.

Birthday for a Guy

Got a new embossing folder that needed to be used. Dry embossed right on the white cs base. Sponged Yellow, Green and Blue then swiped black ink pad for highlights. Added the stripe, sentiment strip and die cut YOU (Boho Flowers die set) all raised with fun foam. The die cut was heat embossed with black on the black cs. Added Nuvo black dots on the sentiment strip.
