I dear friend gave a box of Perfect Pearls years ago and I still think of her generosity every time I use them (thanks Kathy). Started with a water brush dipped lightly in various colors of the Perfect Pearls pots, painting on the stamp then stamped on layering weight cs. Then I inked up the stamp with Slate, off-stamped and added back in some details. The background layer was made last night with some of the Perfect Pearls mixed into the embossing paste and spread on a stencil. PP strip was heat embossed in white. Black edging was added with sharpie on the top two layers and a black cs between white cs base and dotted swiss layer. Once it was all done I decided to add the Sweet Corn sponging.

Nice idea! I have never mixed perfect pearls with embossing paste. Maybe I will give it a try sometime.

This is absolutely gorgeous! I love how you used the Perfect Pearls, too. I have some and love them, but forget to pull them out and use them often. You’ve inspired me to try and use them again this week.

What a great way to use Perfect pearls. I use mine quite a lot but have never thought of adding them to an embossing paste. This is a beautiful card my friend. So much going on and so pretty.

Yes, that silhouette was one of the first stamps I bought and I use it so very often.
